Sense of perspective, eh? Risky. If you don’t load it right, it can overwhelm w that feeling of pointless insignificance. But if it loads right, it can help you to get over yourself, be more open to other people, and enjoy the show w less anxiety. FWIW, I discovered Awkward Love today and am enjoying. I like this. The Oatmeal does some philosophizing like this and it is a really good medium for it. Though I don’t always agree with either you or The Oatmeal’s author, I do love knowing what you think and what is important to you. And I love newly-minted, just-right words.
It is pretty mind-blowing that each person is the main character in his own story. Sometimes we can’t see past our own stories at all. Writing like this promotes further sight and greater compassion.
I’d like to see more of it. <3
